Darnhall Parish Council

Two young oak trees now stand at the centre of Cheshire, next to the Village Hall, in the historic area of Darnhall.

There was an Abbey here in the 13th Century when monks walked the lanes and paths and saw young oak trees in the hedgerows and woods. Those small oaks are now majestically grown to great heights and take pride of place in the village. The monks may have walked into history, but their legacy has been left in the landscape.

Your Darnhall Parish Council Members meet regularly to discuss the future of Darnhall and the exciting things that can be done in our village to make all of our lives better. If you have suggestions to bring to the Council to help make Darnhall a better and more prosperous place to live and work, please do attend our publich meetings in order to speak to us directly and let us know what you’d like to see and what you want to happen within our Village.
